1993 Bridgeport Series I Knee Mill

Up for sale is this 1993 Bridgeport knee mill. This is a 2HP Series 1 that has the 2J variable speed head with an RPM range of 60-4200. This has the large 9″ X 48″ table as well as chrome ways on the Y axis. It is equipped with a 2 axis Anilam DRO, Bridgeport 8F power feed for the X axis, and a Kurt air operated power drawbar. This has a Bijur manual lubrication pump for way lubrication and an adjustable work lamp.

This machine appears to be in good condition and seems to have been taken care of during its life. I have powered it up and everything seems to function as it should. The table is in good condition and the original flaking is still visible. The power feed on the table works as well as the power feed in the head. There were no abnormal noises in the spindle or drive train as I ran it through the spindle speeds. The back gear works great as well.

This machine is powered up and local inspection is encouraged.

1983 Series I 2 HP Bridgeport Milling Machine

Up for sale is this 1983 Bridgeport Series I milling machine. This is 2HP and runs on 230V 3 phase power. This is the desirable variable speed J head model. This is in great condition and is coming out of an R&D lab environment with little use. The paint is all original and has never been repainted. This has a 9″ X 42″ table as well as hard chrome Y axis ways. This has an Acu-rite dual axis DRO with SENC 150 glass scales as well as a Servo brand X axis power feed. Also Included is a 6″ Kurt D60 made in USA milling vise with speed handle (rotary table is NOT included). The table is in great condition with only one end mill mark present but flaking is visible throughout. Everything is smooth on this machine and it really is in nice condition.

This machine is powered up and available for inspection. All the feeds work as they should and the spindle speeds are adjustable and quiet in all ranges.
