Up for sale is this Hardinge HLV-H Super Precision Tool Room Lathe. This is in exceptionally nice condition and has had very low use. This is all original and has never been repainted. This came out of a laboratory setting and was used in making prototype parts. This machine was in excellent condition when I received it so the only work that has been done is a full clean and replacement of the neoprene way wipers. The oiling system has been cleaned and flushed as well as the carriage fluid flushed and replaced with new. Everything functions as it should and is just smooth smooth smooth. This is a very nice machine; one of the nicest I have come across.
This is a 1986 machine and it has many late model features such as hardened and ground cross slide ways, tapered Hardinge spindle, wide bed plate with teflon lined carriage, pre-drilled DRO mounting points, ball bearing apron rack gear and more.
Machine comes with pictured tooling (misc. 5C collets, live center, Buck 3 jaw adjust-tru chuck, drill chuck, factory change gear, & drive plate). In addition I have the coolant nozzle as well as the lexan chip shield. Other accessories are available such as taper attachment, follow rest, steady rest, chucks etc.
